POST BREAKFAST SERIES - INK DRAWINGS ON CANVAS.
Eric was to start working on his 7 x 16 feet canvas, "Passing dreams in color", but recovery time was taking long, after our "going out" episode.
Because Eric has stopped going out to the dining area, we have set up a table in his room where we eat our meals. Breakfast is in the company of birds, jumping about in the branches of the mango tree, four storey high (full of mangoes at the moment) and picking the bread crumbs on the windowsill. The experience is exhilarating.
We wait on better health and agreeable climate for Eric to start working on the 4th large scale painting,
Post breakfast, Eric usually starts telling stories or his dreams the night before or something. I recorded his stories for couple of days on video. After cleaning the breakfast table I just laid blank canvas on it for Eric to work, if he felt like. The blank canvas always inspired Eric to put something on it. This idea progressed into the series of drawings I titled, "Post breakfast".
Eric is drawing with permanent marker pen, a circumstantial adaptation to cope with his failing eyesight; thereafter, I make the lines darker with Indian Ink.
I have recorded the result in the following images and videos.
