On his paintings/drawings.
I believe there are no straight lines.
Everything in my paintings are happenings which sometimes have an impact, most of the time not. You cannot put it on a straight line.
I believe there are no straight lines. The only straight lines are the ones we make because we like straight lines. Nothing walks the straight line, nothing goes forever the same way, even if we want it. We are the ones who want to put everything in boxes, want to organize, order everything. But that’s we, our minds. Outside that nothing exists that wants to order itself. We are the only ones because we believe in order. And even with all that ordering, nothing is ordered and that also you see in my paintings.
Therefore my paintings are chaotic. On the whole it looks composed, everything falling in place like a jigsaw puzzle, but it is one big chaos, a collage of chaos.
